Waterdrop Controller

I use a self-developed and built control electronics for drop photography. It is suitable for high-speed and drop photography and can control up to 6 actuators, 2 cameras and 2 flashes independently. The unit is suitable for the Droplet control software by Stefan Brenner (many thanks at this point for his work).

I also sell the whole thing as a complete package consisting of control electronics, 3 solenoid valves, all connection cables for solenoid valves, flash, camera and power distributor incl. battery box "Ready-to-Run".

Product description

Arduino control unit for controlling up to 6 solenoid valves, 2 flash lights, 2 cameras, 2 analogue inputs for connecting light barriers and similar and start buttons.

Aluminium housing with robust "vandalism button", with integrated LED for status display, incl. USB connection cable for connection to PC or MAC. Arduino Uno R3 incl. shield. All optocouplers are socketed.

The electronics are tested for function.

The software is Java based and runs on PC, MAC and with adaptation on Linux.

Product description:
Direct-acting solenoid valve, suitable for blocking media that are compatible with the materials used. The solenoid valve does not require a minimum operating pressure. The materials used, construction and testing guarantee function, reliability and long service life.

Tested with signs of use, incl. connection cable for 12V and control. The complete control electronics are integrated in the unit plug. The electronics as well as the solenoid valve are tested for function.

I'm controlling the flashes via a remote controler by Yongnuo. I use the Yongnuo flash and radio remote trigger RF-603 II with 100 m range.

I enhanced the controller software to provide more log-functionality and the support for 2 analog and 1 digital input to trigger the process via buttons and sensors.
